Welcome.
I will confess, as a reluctant admission, that I built this site and this blog on a foggy night in December while my family slept. I have no plans for it except to stand as artifact, as creation, and as a record, no matter how fleeting or permanent, of the self sitting at the keyboard right now.
I intend for the site to also be a repository of memory, to track publications and events, to provide updates on works-in-progress, and to share blog posts that will likely range from the mundane to the self-important to the righteously grandiose. So be it.
After additional contemplation, it feels self-aggrandizing to produce such as site for blatant self-advertisement. And yet, without any professional website experience to note, it must do exactly this: so, let this site also serve as demonstration of my non-professional CMS experience. Continued exposure to such programs, professionally or recreationally, will only serve to make me more efficient at this or similar software.
